Black Spinel Impact Ring

€535.00
Cast in recycled solid silver, this one-of-one ring forms a broken circle. Its surface is fractured and heavily textured like cut rock and scattered dust. Every line and ridge draws your eye inward to a single point of impact: a 5mm opaque black spinel that crash-landed into the silver surface like a small asteroid.

Often mistaken for sapphire throughout history, spinel is a precious gemstone in its own right, crystalline, durable, and quietly powerful. With a Mohs hardness of 8, it is nearly as hard as sapphire (9) and well-suited to everyday wear. Its deep, opaque black surface absorbs light rather than reflecting it, giving the stone a dense, cosmic presence against the raw silver textures.

This piece is part of the one/one series. Only a single ring exists.

The ring can be resized to your preferred size. After purchasing, please send a message with your ring size so it can be adjusted for you before shipping.

DETAILS:
Ring face: 2cm wide
